what is acupuncture?
The practice of Acupuncture is one that involves the stimulation of specific points on the body with the insertion of fine needles, electrical or laser stimulation, acupressure (using fingers) or moxibustion (heat). This stimulation triggers localised & systemic biochemical & physical reactions, which address imbalances in the body resulting in improved self regulation and thereby improved health.
